College Credit Options
The electrical training ALLIANCE and all of our apprenticeships firmly believe in and is committed to the education of apprentices and journeyworkers in the organized electrical industry. That strong commitment manifests itself in quality apprenticeship and journeyworker training programs. Individuals participating in the various apprenticeship training programs can receive college level credit for their efforts.
FSCJ Credits
The Gainesville Electrical JATC and the Florida State College at Jacksonville have entered into an articulation agreement. Journeyworkers who have successfully completed the apprenticeship program and demonstrated competence in all required skill areas may be awarded up to 30 credits towards an A.S. Degree in Industrial Management Technology. Please contact the JATC for more information.
ACE Credits
The American Council on Education (ACE) has evaluated all of the electrical training ALLIANCE apprenticeship programs. The Inside Apprenticeship Program evaluation has been performed and awarded up to 60 semester credit hours. To apply you may access the application below.

The recruitment, selection, employment and training of apprentices during their apprenticeship, shall be without discrimination because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), sexual orientation, genetic information, or because they are an individual with a disability or a person 40 years old or older. The applicant must meet the minimum age requirement. The sponsor will take affirmative action to provide equal opportunity in apprenticeship and will operate the apprenticeship program as required under Title 29 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 30, as amended.
