Pay Rates

Apprentices will receive increases during the course of their apprenticeship based on the number of work hours they successfully complete, successful school performance and craft certifications.

Apprentice wages are based upon a percentage of the Journeyworkers hourly wage rate and advancements are made during the four years of apprenticeship.

Current hourly pay rate for Journeyworkers = $35.00 per hour *plus benefits (rev. 06/01/2026)

*plus benefits - In addition to the pay rate, Family Health Insurance and NEBF Retirement Benefits are paid for by the contractor.
