Pay Rates
Apprentices will receive increases during the course of their apprenticeship based on the number of work hours they successfully complete, successful school performance and craft certifications.
Apprentice wages are based upon a percentage of the Journeyworkers hourly wage rate and advancements are made during the four years of apprenticeship.
Current hourly pay rate for Journeyworkers = $35.00 per hour *plus benefits (rev. 06/01/2026)
*plus benefits - In addition to the pay rate, Family Health Insurance and NEBF Retirement Benefits are paid for by the contractor.

AP1 - First Year 0 - 2000 55% $19.25 hr. *plus benefits
AP2 - Second Year 2001 - 4000 60% $21.00 hr. *plus benefits
AP3 - Third Year 4001 - 6000 70% $24.50 hr. *plus benefits
AP4 - Fourth Year 6001 - 8000 80% $28.00 hr. *plus benefits
